Responsibility
IP Commerce (heretofore IPC) shall delegate individuals within the company to be responsible for accuracy and security of customer information.
Consent & Disclosure
IPC shall gather only such customer information as has had its purpose clearly defined. Except where required or permitted by law, customer knowledge and consent are required for the collection, use or disclosure of customer information.
Information Collection
Customer information retained shall be limited to that required to perform the function declared by IPC.
Use, Disclosure and Retention
Customer information shall be used only for the purpose stated by IPC, shall only be divulged when necessary, and shall only be retained for as long as required by law.
Safeguarding Your Information
Customer information shall be protected by means appropriate to the sensitivity of such information.
Policy Disclosure
IPC shall make available on request relevant privacy policy information.
Availability to Customer
Upon request, customers are to be made aware of existence, use and disclosure of customer information, and shall be given the opportunity to have such information corrected where appropriate.
